Our First Meeting – We will take time to sit with you to discuss your thoughts and ideas on the project you have in mind then review best building practices, county code requirements as they may apply. We will demonstrate material samples and make suggestions and recommendations and give you the opportunity to review our photo portfolio so that you can see a few designs we have completed and the quality of our work. We will then inspect the project location, take notes and measurements and share any additional details.
The Estimate – When we have gathered all information necessary, we will prepare our Estimate and design, at no cost to you. We do not offer quotes during our first meeting. Each project is customized to your requests so we take time to prepare each proposal specifically for you! Once you have the Estimate and design in hand, we will contact you to review the details and answer any questions you may have. We are happy to make any modifications in order to fine tune your request and move forward with your project.
The Contract – Once all details have been finalized, we will prepare the Contract. We will then provide you with information necessary in order for you to obtain HOA approval (if applicable). At this time we will require a copy of your House Location Survey/Plat which you will need to obtain HOA approval and we will need in order to obtain the permit to build.
Construction – Upon receipt of the HOA approval, we will obtain all necessary county permits in order to begin construction. We will also obtain all inspections throughout the construction process. The site will be cleaned daily. All other materials will be arranged neatly for the next days work. Of course, we will always be available to provide you with construction updates as requested and answer any questions you may have.
Homeowner Assistance at Construction – We ask that the project location be free of furniture, landscaping, debris, etc. and ready for us to begin. We will require access to an electrical outlet (inside or outside) and use of a hose bib. If you have pets, we ask that the yard be cleaned of pet waste daily so that we may store materials and as a courtesy to our employees.
Completion – Once construction is complete, we will obtain the final inspection. Now the only thing left for you to do is to enjoy your new outdoor living space!
Construction in Inclement Weather – We are ready and able to build throughout the year. Many of our clients like to get a jump on their projects during the winter months so that the project is complete for Spring and Summer enjoyment! Our employees health and safety are of the utmost importance to us so inclement weather conditions can play a factor in day to day construction. Extreme heat or cold or heavy rains may cause slight delays.
